TIPS TO DRAW PERFECT EYES

Please, tell me that I’m not the only one having trouble when it comes the time to draw the eyes in a front face! You always start drawing one eye, and it comes out perfectly and you’re really satisfied with that. But then you look horrified on the other side of the face and you see it: that empty space where you are supposed to draw the other eye!! So, you start to sweat, because you already know how it will end, but you try to suppress this super bad feeling trying to be confident about it and you start to draw it. But then after the first line, your eyes wide in horror because it looks already completely different from the first eye and you start to erase it, and redo it, and again erase it, and redo it, and so on… until you give up and cover the second eye with the frange “’cause why not, I’m going to draw an emo character!”

But what if I tell you that there is actually a way to draw both of your manga eyes perfectly? How? It’s easy: draw both of them at the same time! So you want to start from the eyebrows, drawing the first one on the left side, and then you move on the right side to draw the second one. After that, you look at them making sure that there are no mistakes and that both of them looks exactly the same. Then you move to draw the top part of the eyes, where there are the lashes, and you draw the one on the left side, and then the one on the right side. Then you stop, and again fix any mistake to make sure they looks identic. Then you move to the pupils doing again the same thing, and so on, until both of your eyes are complete!
